Subject: Berlin Museum construction project with Jewish Museum division
Recommendation letter
Already during the preliminary planning of the Berlin Museum with Jewish Museum division, we were extensively and comprehensively advised by Mr. Theo Schröders, Gerhard-Welter-Str / D-41812 Erkelenz, regarding fire protection closures.
Through this early collaboration, we were able to integrate the fire protection closures required in this museum building in a very aesthetic manner. Mr. Schröders was always open to our special requests and implemented them as constructible fire protection closures.
As examples of the issues arising, mention may be made of the recess pockets integrated into the exterior walls, the flaps in front of the stationary sides of the gates, as well as the adaptation of the gates to the sloping plane on the lower floor through a slanted bottom cut or through a slanted running rail.
These and other issues required special solutions, which were resolved by Mr. Schröders with the competent official testing authorities and the supreme building supervisory authority and officially confirmed by an individual approval.
In addition, the manufacturing company was advised by Mr. Schröders during the production of the fire protection closures, and the installation of the doors was supervised by him.
Through the cooperation with Mr. Schröders, all issues concerning the fire protection closures that arose during the implementation of this complicated building were solved. The works incurred were executed by all parties to our complete satisfaction.
