Certified safety according to EN 60529
System Schröders doors comply with DIN EN 60529 up to IP44 and therefore provide the required reliable protection:

Protection against solid foreign bodies (IP4X):
The first characteristic numeral "4" indicates that the enclosure is protected against the ingress of foreign bodies with a diameter of ≥ 1.0 mm. This is tested with a standardized test wire, which must not penetrate the enclosure.

Splash water protection from all sides (IPX4):
The second characteristic numeral "4" stands for protection against the ingress of splash water from all directions. During the test, the enclosure is sprayed with a defined water jet for at least 5 minutes – without water being allowed to penetrate it.
