System Schröders security doors
Well insulated – with safety
Energy efficiency of buildings plays an increasingly important role. Accordingly, more attention is also paid to this property among the various installed elements before they are put into use. System Schröders has responded to this and had all its door types checked accordingly. The results showed that they not only convince in terms of protection but also in terms of insulation.
System Schröders has subjected all doors in its licensee programme to an examination of thermal properties according to EN ISO 10077-1. The results show that the security doors have particularly good thermal insulation. Thus, the thermal transmittance coefficient, which varies depending on door type, size and equipment, reaches up to UD = 1.2 W/(m2K) for double-leaf and up to UD = 1.3 W/(m2K) for single-leaf doors. Doors with integrated glass cut-outs also show values of up to UD = 1.3 W/(m2K) for double-leaf and up to UD = 1.4 W/(m2K) for single-leaf doors.
With these high insulation values, System Schröders doors not only provide the previously known high security properties, but also help to make buildings more energy efficient.
