EPD for steel doors, gates, and flaps of the System Schröders
In close cooperation with ift Rosenheim, System Schröders has had an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) prepared for System Schröders steel doors and gates. This declaration documents the product-related life cycle assessment of all System Schröders products over their entire life cycle.
Environmental Product Declaration EPD according to ISO 14025 and EN 15804
Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) provide the data basis for the ecological assessment of buildings. They are based on ISO standards and are therefore internationally harmonized. The System Schröders EPD was prepared by ift Rosenheim according to the standards ISO 14025 and EN 15804.
Support for sustainable construction
Proof of the sustainable use of resources as well as the assessment of the environmental impact of structures is of rapidly increasing importance in the planning of buildings. Environmental Product Declarations are therefore used to assess environmental compatibility.
For example, certification according to the Assessment System for Sustainable Building (BNB) of the Federal Government has been mandatory for all federal new builds since March 2011. Since January 2013, this also applies to all existing federal buildings.
EPD for the ModulSystem
By means of the System Schröders EPD, our licensed specialist companies are able to provide the relevant key figures for the planning of sustainable and environmentally conscious construction. In this way, System Schröders actively supports planners, architects, building owners, and manufacturing companies.
The System Schröders EPDs are issued directly by the manufacturer of the doors and gates. For enquiries and further information on the System Schröders EPD, please contact one of our licensed manufacturing companies.
